SOUTH PHILADELPHIA -

It's a Thanksgiving tradition more than 50 years in the making in South Philadelphia, as dozens of turkeys have been delivered to Cacia's.

Workers tell FOX 29's Steve Keeley a little more than 100 turkeys have been delivered to the South Philly bakery. The turkeys are expected to be cooked and ready to go by around 1 p.m.

On Thursday morning, the dozens of turkeys rested in foil, ready to be cooked.

One employee says any time you hit 100 turkeys it's been a successful holiday.

Cacia's also has locations in South Jersey and Delaware County.
