11-Year-Old Struck By Minivan In Hit And Run

PHILADELPHIA -

Philadelphia Police say a child was struck by a minivan in a hit-and-run incident Wednesday night.

According to police, the accident happened in the area of Jackson Street and Granite Street shortly after 7:30 p.m.

Police say the 11-year-old was taken to a nearby hospital and is reported to be in stable condition.

Police say the minivan was white and was last seen driving southbound on Jackson from Granite.
