Time For Giving: Shore Businesses Help Those Affected by Sandy

Posted: Updated:

Thanksgiving is a time to come together, share a meal, reflect and give thanks.

Hurricane Sandy was just last month and thousands are still without a home and without a good meal.

Several shore businesses and restaurants are using this holiday to raise money for the victims and offer free meals to the hungry.

The Point Pleasant Patch has a great article which lists some of the establishments that are offering free or discounted turkey dinners.

Uncle Vinny's Comedy Club has decided to donate a portion of their sales from November 6th through Memorial Day 2013 to people directly affected by Sandy.

Lowe's is going to provide more than 22,000 free thanksgiving meals to employees and communities affected by Hurricane Sandy.

Of course, you can always donate to the Hurricane Sandy NJ Relief Fund and The American Red Cross.
