World Trade Center subbasement fire

Firefighters responded to a fire in the subbasement of the vehicle security center at the World Trade Center site, according to emergency reports.

The fire broke out at Tuesday afternoon below 130 Liberty Street, near the corner of Greenwich Street.

Firefighters have apparently knocked down the fire, which means the fire is under control.
