LAS VEGAS -

Police have arrested the ex-boyfriend of an Avondale woman who was shot and killed in front of her 5-year-old daughter on Monday.

During the evening hours of their investigation involving a mother who was shot and killed in front of her daughter, police say received a tip about the suspect being in Las Vegas.

Las Vegas police officers found the suspect's red 2002 Chrysler PT Cruiser parked at the Luxor Hotel around 1 a.m. and they conducted surveillance on the vehicle.

At 6 a.m., they arrested 41-year-old Michael Hall as he walked back to the car.

Sgt. Brandon Busse of the Avondale police says Hall is currently in LVPD custody and awaiting extradition back to Arizona.

28-year-old Donella Clauschee was found dead inside her garage near 107th Avenue and Lower Buckeye Road Monday morning.  She was shot several times.

Authorities say Clauschee had recently filed an order of protection against Hall.  A motive for the shooting remains unclear.

This is a developing story.  Stay with FOX 10 News for updates.

Step through the doors of Hope's Land of Candy in Island Park, Long Island and you''ll be taking a trip back in time. There's no WIFI but they do have a Victrola piano. And then there's the candy.. lots and lots of it.

It appears the subway bedbug problem we've been reporting is getting worse. Commuters already have to contend with sweltering platforms, scurrying rats and packed train cars, and now there's another transit woe: fear of bedbugs.
