Archbishop Timothy Cardinal Dolan paid a visit to recovery workers and FEMA Restoration Center on Saturday.

Cardinal Dolan's visit was his third to the storm-ravaged borough.

He made a visit to the Mount Manresa Retreat House on 239 Fingerboard Road, which is housing 30 displaced families. Later Cardinal Dolan stopped by the Mission Church of Holy Rosary on 207 Sand Lane before visiting the FEMA's NYC Restoration Center on Hylan Boulevard.

Catholic Charities workers are currently staffing the case management service at the restoration center.

The Archdiocese of New York is distributing nearly $1 million raised through their parish collection to those hardest hit by Hurricane Sandy, particularly those who suffered losses on Staten Island, as well as lower Manhattan and some portions of the upper counties of the archdiocese.
