A nor'easter swept across the tristate on Wednesday, covering communities already hit hard by Hurricane Sandy with wet snow and rain.

Monmouth County, N.J., was covered in snow by the evening. Drivers had to search to find last year's snow scrapers.

Residents there and along the Jersey shore are still recovering from Sandy and snow was an unwelcome sight.

Part of the problem is freezing temperatures it adds to the misery of people who a week after Sandy still have no power.

This nor'easter delayed the progress utility companies are making though we did see them working in the snow.

Some coastal communities were evacuated for the second time in a week. Some residents again refused to go.

Emergency Management officials were worried about flooding and high winds knocking out power again.
