Packers-Giants game remains on Sunday night

Posted: Updated:

NEW YORK (AP) - The Green Bay Packers' game at the New York Giants will remain on Sunday night Nov. 25.

The NFL announced its flexible scheduling decision Wednesday, almost a week earlier than required, to allow fans and teams to complete travel plans for Thanksgiving weekend

Starting in Week 11, the league can move a more appealing matchup into prime time if need be. But NBC is happy to keep a game involving the last two Super Bowl champions, with the Packers and Giants both currently 6-3.
