New York Blood Center needs donations

Hurricane Sandy wreaked havoc on the tristate region on did a number on the blood supply in New York.

Six-thousand donations were canceled last week due to the storm.

The blood bank was able to meet supply as several hospitals were not operational.

The need is great at this time.
