Officials from NYU Langone Medical Center say nearly all practices are set to resume on Monday after it was one of two New York City hospitals that had to evacuate patients at the height of Superstorm Sandy.
According to the NYU Langone MC website some doctors will see patients at alternate locations and doesn't know how long it will have to use the different locations.
The hospital had seven backup generators malfunction during the storm surge Monday night and forced 300 patients to be evacuated.
The second hospital forced to evacuate patients was Bellevue Hospital, where 700 patients had to be removed after the power failed. A hospital official said on Thursday the hospital could be out of commission for at least two more weeks.
