DETROIT (WJBK) - The alleged mistress who came to FOX 2 exposing her affair with former Detroit police Chief Ralph Godbee has filed suit against him and the city claiming sexual harassment.

Newspaper reports say the suit was filed Tuesday in Wayne County Circuit Court. In it, Angelica Robinson claims she approached Godbee about a transfer in the department. She claims Godbee sought a sexual relationship with her when she requested a transfer in May 2011.

Robinson is seeking at least $50,000 in damages. She says she suffered embarrassment, loss earning capacity, emotional distress and physical pain.

Godbee resigned Oct. 8. He has apologized for setting a bad example through his sexual relationship with Robinson that forced his resignation.

Robinson drew attention to the affair when she posted a photo on Twitter of herself with a police gun in her mouth.
