It's shaping up to be a weekend of worry as people across New Jersey prepare for the worst from Hurricane Sandy.
The storm is heading north after widespread damage in the Caribbean. A wintry storm is chugging across the country from the west. And frigid air is streaming south from Canada.
Forecasters say they could meet around New Jersey or New York on Tuesday morning, creating a meteorological mess.
Heavy rain would cause flooding along the coast and inland. Strong winds are expected to down trees and power lines.
Utilities are gearing up. Emergency management officials are advising residents to be prepared.
Much depends on the track of the storm and forecasters say there's still quite a bit of uncertainty about where Sandy will go.
