The new Diamond Jim Brady's Bistro, a Detroit tradition since 1954, will celebrate one year this fall at its new "Clock Tower" building at the Novi Town Center.
The restaurant is located in the Novi Town Center at 43271 Crescent Blvd. Open seven days for lunch and dinner, with brunch served on Sunday.

Pecan Praline French Toast Bake
2 loaves Pullman white bread
8 large eggs
2 c. ½ & ½
1 c. milk
2 T. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
¼ tsp. cinnamon
¼ tsp. nutmeg
Dash of salt
In a 2" full hotel pan sprayed with pan spray; line up two loaves of bread side by side and some to fill in the extra space. Mix all other ingredients together well; pour over bread, cover and let sit overnight.
Praline topping
½ pound butter
1 c. packed brown sugar
1 c. chopped pecans
2 T. light corn syrup
½ tsp. cinnamon
½ tsp. nutmeg
Mix Praline topping when you are ready to bake the French toast. Cover and bake at 350 degree uncovered for 30-40 minutes.
