A woman who was eight months pregnant was found stabbed to death inside her home in Brooklyn Saturday morning.
38-year-old Vindalee Smith was found inside her basement around 9:30 a.m. in East Flatbush. Police said Smith was stabbed in the neck and it's not clear how long she was dead before being discovered.
The New York Post said Smith, the mother of four, was due to get married on Sunday.
According to the Post, she had been living at the apartment for a few weeks while her four other children stayed with family friends.
Smith had received death threats from a former neighbor at a previous address but it ended when she moved. Smith, who was a devout Seventh-day Adventist and regular visitor at the nearby New Dimension Church, told the pastor she had received new threats as recently as two weeks ago.
Police have made no arrests and their investigation is ongoing.

The van rear-ended a Taxi and Limousine Commission vehicle at the corner of Church Ave. and Utica Ave. at about 7:45 a.m., said police.
