Service on the 4, 5, and 6 lines was running normally Tuesday afternoon after extensive delays in the morning.
Due to switch problems at the 14th Street-Union Square Station, some downtown 5 trains were running on the 2 line from the149 Street-Grand Concourse Station to the Nevins Street Station.
Earlier Tuesday morning, there were no southbound 4,5 & 6 trains running between 125th Street and the Brooklyn Bridge.
