Fire rips through house in the Bronx

A fire destroyed a home on East 184th Street in the Fordham Heights section of The Bronx Monday morning.

SkyFoxHD was over the inferno at about 6:30 a.m. where the flames knocked down the roof and rear portion of the house.

Fire officials say the flames broke out at about 6:20 a.m. at 15 East 184th Street near Walton Avenue.

Firefighters battled the three-alarm blaze from the exterior, ground level and second floor.

The flames were brought under control at about 8 a.m., according to the @FDNY Twitter account.

It was unclear if anyone had been injured.
