Violence marred a high school homecoming football game on Long Island Friday night when gunshots were fired and a 20-year-old man was stabbed.

Nassau County police said the 20-year-old man and three 16-year-old teens from Freeport were leaving the game at Baldwin High School when two suspects approached them in the parking lot around 8:30 p.m.

Authorities say one suspect pointed a black handgun at the victims and fired two shots, where one bullet hit Ford Explorer that was parked in the parking lot. A 44-year-old man and his 8-year-old daughter were in the Explorer but were not injured.

The four victims ran towards the school but became separated. Police said the 20-year-old victim was punched and stabbed two times in the parking lot. The unidentified victim was taken to an area hospital and his injuries are non-life threatening.

The first suspect is described as Black, 5'3" to 5'6", thin build, with a dark complexion, wearing a red Adidas sweat suit jacket, a red baseball cap and armed with a black handgun.

The second suspect is Black, 5'9" to 6'1" tall, thin build dark complexion, wearing a striped shirt.

Nassau County detectives ask anyone with information regarding the incident to call Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS.
