One more thing, about political debates.
Did your candidate say anything memorable tonight? I mean really memorable.
If the answer is no, that might be a good thing.
Here are a few debate moments that have lived on through the years, much to the dismay of the candidates involved - beginning with a guy just checking the time.
Sometimes it can do you in. Just ask Bush 41.
He was James Stockdale, and he was there at the 1992 vice presidential debate because he was Ross Perot's running mate.
Stockdale was actually a brilliant, decorated, and heroic admiral in Vietnam. All negated because of one goofy moment - on television.
