'Real Men Wear Pink' event held in Henry County

HENRY COUNTY, Ga. -

Ten prominent metro area men took a stand against breast cancer on Thursday in Henry County.  It appeared the entire town was decked out in pink for the annual "Real Men Wear Pink" event.

Piedmont Henry Hospital sponsors the annual event, which is designed to encourage women to get a yearly mammogram.

One of the other "Real Men Wearing Pink," included Atlanta Braves right fielder Jason Heyward who's from Henry County. His grandmother is currently fighting the disease.

The event is held every October during Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
