Several cases under investigation by the Nassau County District Attorney's office are also making major headlines.

Fatal Parkway Crash Driver's Blood To Be Tested

District Attorney Kathleen Rice spoke with Good Day New York on Thursday about the deadly crash on the Southern State Parkway that killed four people. The 17-year-old driver may have been smoking pot before the accident, according to sources.

"What we need to do is allow the investigation to continue. we're going to see what the toxicology reports are," Rice told GDNY.

Lohan's Father Makes Frantic Call Public

Rice also weighed in on the phone conversation between Lindsay Lohan and her father, Michael Lohan, which he made public. The call happened during a fight the younger Lohan had with her mother at her house in North Merrick on Wednesday.

"It's just very sad when you hear the content. (He sold it to TMZ) that's even worse. Police have taken no action, so my office is not doing anything. This is a family problem. Unfortunately with their fame and the public's desire for information, this is what happens," said Rice.

Bieber Tapes Anti-Bullying Video to Settle Mall Incident

Lastly, Rice discussed the significance of the county's new Public Service Announcement about bullying involving singing sensation Justin Bieber.

"My hope is that this affects kids across the world. When Justin Bieber looks in the camera and says there  is a place for you to go to get help, that's incredible powerful. We built a website to go along with the PSA," said Rice. StopBullyingLI.org

The future is here when it comes to vehicles. The auto industry has packed nearly 1,000 automobiles into the Jacob Javits Center on Manhattan's West Side for the 2014 NY Auto Show.   Among the 'must-sees' is a hydrogen-powered vehicle and a prototype with cameras that allow you to see the ground underneath as you drive over it.

“I was supposed to be dead before last Easter," said Valerie Harper about her diagnosis of cancer in the lining around her brain.  Harper's indomitable spirit and the support from fans of her character 'Rhoda' in the 1970s hit series 'The Mary Tyler Moore Show' has kept her going. "It’s a tasty headline," said Harper about the magazine where the inaccurate report was made.
