MYFOXNY.COM -- Greatness was in the air in Montclair, N.J., Monday afternoon as two of the few remaining living Yankee legends from the 1956 world champion team -- Don Larsen and Yogi Berra -- celebrated one of the greatest accomplishments in all of sports: Larsen's a perfect game, which Yogi caught.

It remains the only perfect game pitched in a World Series.

Footage of the game was played at the Yogi Berra Museum on the campus of Montclair State University as Larsen and Berra celebrated the 56th anniversary of the game as well as the launch the official auction of Larsen's No. 18 jersey that he wore during the perfect game.

Larsen said he wants to help pay for the education of his two grandchildren, Cody and Justin.

Steiner Sports Memorabilia said the white jersey with faded pinstripes that Larsen wore on October 8, 1956, was packed away right after the game. Years later it was on display at the San Diego Hall of Champions.

Larsen said it is time to part from the famed jersey, which goes up for bid on Thursday.

Bidding starts at $56,000. Sports memorabilia analysts say it could sell anywhere from $1 million to $2 million.
