High Prana, High-Energy nut porridge

This recipe comes courtesy of Linda Daniels, a Registered Dietician and volunteer at the Isha Foundation, a non-profit that focuses on inner-health and well being.

2 bananas
2-3 c. soaked raw peanuts or other nuts, such as walnuts or cashews
Freshly ground cardamom to taste
Honey to taste
1 c. strawberries, sliced

Puree bananas and nuts.  Season with cardamom and honey. Add water to make the desired consistency.  Garnish with strawberries.  
Yields 2-4 servings.


Using "high prana" or high-energy, nutrient-dense ingredients, this simple and delicious porridge is similar to what's on the breakfast menu at "Inner Engineering: A Life-Transforming Weekend with Sadhguru" at Cobo Center Oct. 12-14.
