Posted: Updated:

Two firefighters injured battling an inferno at a condominium complex in Wyncote, Montgomery County have been released from the hospital.  Medics transported 4 other people to the hospital but their conditions are unknown.

The fire broke out around 9:30 p.m. Friday at the complex at 1600 Church Rd.

Some residents had to be rescued form their balconies. Investigators say the flames spread quickly.

As of Monday, 40 families (55 people) have been displaced due to the fire.  Some are receiving assistance from the local Red Cross.

Officials also announced Monday that the fire was accidental.
