Police Search For Armed Robbers Terrorizing Several Neighborhoods

Posted: Updated:

Philadelphia Police are looking for two men they say are armed and dangerous. They're wanted in connection with a series of violent robberies throughout the city.

"That kind of thing is always happening," said Harrison King. He and his friend hang out in the city a lot and say they've heard of people being robbed on the streets. The bad guys go after whatever they can get.

Aaron Agens said, "They go after things like these Oakley sunglasses I'm wearing and headphones like my friend has."

Police have arrested 18-year old Henry Baynard for 20 robberies between August 21st and October first. Now they're looking for his alleged accomplices, 19-year old Derrick Edwards and 18-year old Rasheed Thomas.

"It worries me a lot," said Karlo Dudley. He can't help but wonder how far the gun toting robbers are willing to go to get what they want.

"The robberies do concern me because that always leads to something else," he said. He also said the only thing to do is be alert when you're on the streets no matter what part of town you're in.

"Just be aware of who's around you and keep a lot of faith."
