International Festival happening through Sunday in Southfield

SOUTHFIELD, Mich. -- It's a cultural event celebrating food, customs and crafts from around the world.  The International Festival is now underway in Southfield.

The festival, which is taking place at the Southfield Pavilion, kicked off Friday morning with a swearing in ceremony of new citizens.  Over 100 people from 30 different countries were congratulated by Congressman Gary Peters.

The International Festival runs until 7:00 p.m. Friday, from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Saturday and from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday.
