Police in Cherry Hill say they have arrested the driver involved in a hit-and-run accident that happened outside the Cherry Hill Mall.

According to police, the driver confessed to her involvement in the accident, which took place along Route 38 and Mall Drive Thursday afternoon.

Police say the driver, 49-year-old Wanda Brown, now faces several charges, including Causing Serious Bodily Injury While Driving on a Suspended Driver's License.

Police say the victim is recovering from surgery after suffering multiple fractures and severe head and neck injuries.
