Phillies Making Right Choice Bringing Back Manuel?

PHILADELPHIA -
The Phillies entered the 2012 season with a high payroll and even higher expectations.
After 162 games, they finished where they started, with a .500 record.
Moments after their 81-81 season the Phils started making changes. Bench coach Pete McKanin, first base coach Sam Perlozzo, and hitting coach Greg Gross were all fired.
Should Manager Charlie Manuel be back for another season?
Howard Eskin caught up with Phillies General Manager Ruben Amaro Jr. when the team arrived home from Washington, and he said Manuel will be back. You can watch the complete interview by clicking here.
There's lots of speculation that the Phillies view Ryne Sandberg, the manager of the club's AAA affiliate, the Lehigh Valley IronPigs, as a Major League manager in waiting and will offer him a bench coach position.
Are the Phillies making the right move by keeping Manuel on, or should they just start 2013 with a new manager?
That was the first topic in Thursday morning's "Fanatic Faceoff" on "Good Day."
Weighing in were Matt Cord from 93.3 WMMR and, as always, "Good Day" senior producer Tom Louden.
Cord and Louden also discussed whether fans should be concerned that the Sixers started training camp this week after one of the more exciting offseasons in franchise history but star new addition Andrew Bynum is already out three weeks with a knee problem.
Oh, and they pondered whether Matt Cord is really "Bus Stop Buddy." We'll let you decide.
