A photo of a Chipotle worker making a goofy expression while standing next to Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney left people asking what he was thinking.

Luckily, The Daily was able to find that out.

The manager at a Chipotle in Denver says he couldn't help but make the face when he met Romney on Tuesday.

"It's a facial expression I do when I'm excited," Marty Arps, 20, told the Daily. "I [did that] when I met Nicki Minaj. It's like, ‘Ah, it's them, right there in front of you!' They're not from another world.'"

It was nevertheless an alien experience to Arps when a motorcade of police officers and black SUVs filled with Secret Service agents followed by a throng of reporters mobbed the Mexican fast-food eatery yesterday morning.

Romney walked in and stood in line for lunch.

He was in Denver preparing for his first debate with President Obama.

The GOP hopeful had "two carnitas bowls with guacamole — which is an extra charge," said Arps.

Arps, who hopes to become either comedian or a parole officer someday, told The Daily he doesn't know yet who he'll vote for yet on election day.
