The driver of a Mercedes was nearly run over by their own car when they apparently thought the car was parked. Then, when they managed to get out of the way, they ran right into their opened car door.
The incident was captured on a surveillance camera and has a time stamp of 7:48 a.m. on June 1, 2012. It was posted on the autoblog website.
The car was identified as a Mercedes-Benz E-Class.
The driver had backed it up to the street and hopped out to pick some items off of the driveway. The car started rolling back down towards the driver. For a spilt second, they appeared to try to stop the car but then thought better of it.
The driver, having lost their balance, propelled themselves into the door that swung open as the car crashed into something at the bottom of the driveway.
Someone else is seen running up to the scene as the driver remains on the ground. It was unclear if they were hurt.
There was no indication of where the video was shot, but the person who uploaded it to YouTube wrote the title in Polish.
