A deer ran over a skateboarder practicing for a high-speed downhill competition in Colorado.
The dramatic incident was captured on the helmet camera of another skateboarder.
It shows the competitor going about 40 miles an hour during a practice run when a deer runs from the left side of the road and knocks him off of the board and onto the right shoulder. He appeared to just avoid going over a cliff.
It happened this past weekend during the Buffalo Bill Downhill Bloodspill Race competition on Lookout Mountain.
According to media reports, neither was seriously hurt. The skateboarder was identified as Ryan Vitale of Salt Lake City.
