HADDON TOWNSHIP, N.J. -

Investigators in Camden County have announced they are looking into the death of a Paulsboro man who died shortly after he was arrested over the weekend.

Camden County Prosecutor Warren W. Faulk and Haddon Township Police Chief mark Cavallo announced their plans to investigate the death of 37-year-old Shron Norman on Monday.

The prosecutor's office says he passed out in the rear of a Haddon Township Police vehicle and died despite police efforts to perform CPR.

He was pronounced dead at our Lady of Lourdes Medical Center in Camden.

Police say two officers responded to reports of a disorderly person at the Crown Fried Chicken on Mount Ephraim Avenue in Haddon Township around 1:30 a.m. Saturday morning.

According to police, employees at the restaurant called 911 because they said Norman was threatening customers and damaging restaurant property.

Police say one officer suffered minor injuries while trying to take Norman into custody.
