Woman charged in fatal Atlanta accident

ATLANTA -

Police say charges have been filed in a deadly accident near the Brookwood Interchange Saturday morning.

A single car crashed early Saturday morning on the ramp from Interstate 75 southbound to Interstate 85 northbound according to an Atlanta Police Department spokesperson.

They say that Stephanie Jang, 20, left the roadway and hit an embankment. Her passenger, Patricia Lie, 21, of Suwanee died in the crash according to the Fulton County Medical Examiner's Office.

Officers charged Jang with Driving under the Influence, Homicide by Vehicle, and several other offenses.
