A puppy that a suspect was caught on camera hiding in his sweatshirt and stealing from a Conshohocken pet store has been returned, again with cameras rolling.

The store manager says the theft happened Tuesday just after 12:30 p.m.

The suspect was seen on the original surveillance video removing the puppy from its pen and slipping it into his sweatshirt. He then walks around the store for a while a woman distracts the manager.

Store employees believe the puppy, a Maltese and Yorkie mix, was returned Thursday night by the same man who stole it.

In the new video released Friday, the suspect is seen delivering the puppy in a paper bag, placing it on the counter and taking off.

Employees say it's not the first time a dog was taken from the store. In fact, it was the fourth despite the store's eight cameras.
