Public School 94 in Sunset Park, Brooklyn has a serious problem with overcrowding.
Many Kindergartners and first-graders have reportedly told their parents they've spent every day in the three weeks since school started watching movies and filling in coloring books.
The children have been shoved into an auditorium for the school day with the exception of lunch, according to the N.Y. Daily News.
Instead of learning to read, the children have been watching Shrek and Toy Story. The Department of Education denied the report.
An outraged teacher told the News some children have wept from boredom. "It's traumatic," she was quoted as saying.
The parents were told to look for seats at nearby schools as the Department of Education finds a seat for each student inside a classroom.
