A Long Island man used his bail receipt from earlier in the day as identification during a second arrest on Thursday.

Suffolk County Police say Eduardo Morales just didn't get the message that he shouldn't be driving.

They say the Brentwood man was driving southbound on Wilson Boulevard near Kelly Avenue in Central Islip at 11:05 a.m. when an officer pulled him over for driving an unregistered vehicle.

The officer discovered that Morales was driving a 2003 Chrysler with a suspended license.  Morales was arrested and taken to a police station.  He posted bail and was released.

Just three hours later, a different officer spotted Morales talking on his phone while driving the same unregistered Chrysler and pulled him over.

When the officer asked for identification, Morales showed the officer his bail receipt from his arrest earlier in the day.

Morales was arrested again and was being held overnight and was scheduled to be arraigned on Friday.
