Rita Zak is a small business owner seeking election to the U.S. House representing the 7th Congressional District of Illinois as a Republican candidate.
The 7th district includes the Near North Side and downtown Chicago as
well as some of the west and south sides of city and some west suburban
areas in Cook County.
Zak is running against incumbant Democrat Danny K. Davis.
