The campaign office of Rep. Michael Grimm (Staten Island) was recently vandalized.
Two large chunks of cement and smaller rocks were thrown through the windows of his office located at 2582 Hylan Boulevard in the New Dorp section.
Grimm told police that he believes the suspect attempted to corrupt and erase the hard-drive of the campaign computer server, which contained confidential campaign files and polling data.
Grimm spoke with Good Day New York on Tuesday about the incident.
"We don't keep anything of value in the campaign office. It was polling data. What's surprising is that someone would get violent," said Grimm.
