A passenger stabbed an MTA bus driver Monday morning in Brooklyn, authorities said.
The mother of the driver said the passenger used a hypodermic needle, Fox 5 News reported. The driver was stabbed in the shoulder. He was being treated at Methodist Hospital in Park Slope.
The attack happened on the B68 to Coney Island.
The passenger who attacked the driver fled the bus and is at large.
Later Monday, an irate passenger on the B45 punched the female driver in the face as she helped a disabled passenger.
Under New York law, assaulting an MTA employee is a felony.
