Police arrest 3 women in prostitution operation on L.I.

Authorities arrested three women in a prostitution operation on Long Island. 

Police arrested the three women on 424 Flanders Road in Flanders located in Suffolk County. 62-year-old Mariluz Fonseca, of Flanders, NY was charged with Promoting Prostitution 3rd degree, a class D felony.  

59-year-old Milady Leclerc-Roman of the Bronx, was charged with Prostitution, a B misdemeanor and 40-year-old Belkis Serrano-Tejeda of Flanders was also charged with Prostitution.

Fonseca and Serrano-Tejeda reside at the 424 Flanders Road and authorities say the investigation into the brothel began a couple months ago after information was received by police of the activities occurring at the residence.   

After their arrest, the three women were held in the Suffolk County Sheriff's Detention Facility pending arraignment on September 22.
