Pedestrian fighting for life after hit-and-run in Queens

Police say a 25-year-old man is fighting for his life after a hit-and-run accident in Queens Friday night, police said.

A Nissan Maxima slammed into the pedestrian around 11:40 p.m. on Northern Boulevard, near 102nd Street in the Elmhurst section and then fled the scene headed westbound.

EMS took the rushed the victim to Elmhurst Hospital, where he was listed in critical condition.

No arrests have been made and their investigation is ongoing.
