Police on Long Island arrested a youth baseball manager who they say stalked a rival coach's family and sent threatening text messages to the competing coach.

Robert Sanfilippo manages the Long Island Vengeance.  a team of 10-11-year-old boys.

Police say he got into an altercation with another coach at a tournament in May.  They say he later bought an untraceable phone and  sent several text messages with pictures, threatening to do harm to the other coach, his son, and his wife.

Suffolk County police officers linked the phone to Sanfilippo and arrested him Friday during a game at Baseball Heaven in Yaphank.

Sanfilippo, 45, of  Huntington, is charged with 20 counts of aggravated harassment and one count of stalking.

He was scheduled to be arraigned in Central Islip on Saturday.
