PAULDING COUNTY, Ga. -

A high school female football player was named homecoming queen at South Paulding High School on Friday.

Brittany Havenner, a sophomore, is first-string place kicker for the both the junior and varsity football teams.

Brittany says her offensive linemen really hunker down to protect her while she's on the field.

Her father could not be more proud, he says kicking field goals come naturally for her; she's played soccer since age 8.

Brittany wants to kick through her senior year and reportedly she hasn't missed one.
