Cash paying drivers who use the five major MTA crossings could see a toll hike of 15 percent next year.

The agency is reportedly considering an increase at about the same time a fare hike goes into effect on commuter trains, subways and buses, reported the N.Y. Daily News.

The bridge-tunnel toll increases would be voted on in December and could hit in the spring.

The price of taking the Verrazano would jump to $15 and tolls on the other MTA bridges and tunnels would increase $1 to $7.50, added the DN.

The MTA manages the Brooklyn-Battery Tunnel (officially the Hugh L. Carey Tunnel), the Queens-Midtown Tunnel, the Robert F. Kennedy Bridge (also known as the Triborough Bridge), the Verrazano-Narrows Bridge, the Bronx-Whitestone Bridge, the Throgs Neck Bridge, the Henry Hudson Bridge, Cross Bay Veterans Memorial Bridge, and Marine Parkway-Gil Hodges Memorial Bridge.
