Philadelphia Police have released a sketch of a suspect that physically and sexually assaulted a woman in her own residence on Sunday.
The incident happened just after 1 p.m. on the 100 block of North Dewey Street. Police say the woman was assaulted by an unknown man who confronted the woman in her residence. The suspect was armed with a handgun as well during the incident.
Police describe the suspect as a black man, between 30 to 35 years old. He was about 5'11" to 6'1" in height with a thin build, about 170 to 190 pounds. He was wearing a blue shirt, blue jeans and was also wearing black fabric gloves. He also has black, shoulder-length dreadlocks.
If the suspect looks familiar, call the Philadelphia Special Victims Unit at 215-685-3251.
