Lawsuit over pool party with glow-in-the-dark water

A hip Brooklyn rave party touting a pool filled with glow-in-the-dark water left two young women "blinded" after they took a dip in the toxic tank, a lawsuit charges.

Rocio Marie Cabrera and Sarah Deodath, both 19 and from The Bronx, paid $90 apiece for tickets to the Return to the Bubble Kingdom bash hosted by party promoter Unicorn Meat NYC at a Sunset Park warehouse, court papers say.

The Aug. 4 event, which lured hundreds over Facebook, promised that a few partiers would be given the "luxury" of swimming in a black-light-reflective waterfall, says the suit filed Sept. 7 in Bronx Supreme Court.

Organizers dumped toxic chemicals into the large pool to alter "the color and/or reflective properties" of the water, the papers say.

While swimming, the women "ingested and/or absorbed dangerous, hazardous and/or toxic chemicals resulting in severe and debilitating injuries to their eyes," the papers say.

They suffered "permanent reduction of visibility in both eyes," the papers say.

The women declined comment to The Post.

Their lawyer, Keith Sullivan, said that only "greedy" promoters "would lace a pool with chemical toxins and invite people in to swim in that chemical soup and charge them."

Unicorn and Atlantic Properties, which the suit lists as the owner of the warehouse at 2 52nd St., are named as defendants.

Atlantic denied owning the site. Unicorn said it was unaware of the suit.
