The Yankees-Blue Jays game originally scheduled for Tuesday night at Yankee Stadium has been postponed until Wednesday afternoon because of the potential for dangerous weather.

Severe storms were passing through the tristate on Tuesday. The National Weather Service issued high wind advisories and tornado watches for much of the area, including the Bronx.

The teams will make up the game on Wednesday, September 19, at 1:05 p.m. as the first game in a split-attendance day-night doubleheader, the Yankees announced. The second game will starts at 7:05 p.m.

Only tickets for the September 18 game will be honored at the 1:05 p.m. game, the team stressed. If you have tickets to the 7:05 p.m. game, do not show up early hoping to catch both games; you will not be allowed inside the stadium.

Ticketholders to the rained-out game who cannot attend the rescheduled date can exchange their paid tickets for any regular season game at Yankee Stadium during the 2012 or 2013 season. If you have complimentary tickets, you must use them at the rescheduled game; you cannot exchange them for another game.
