Arrest in shooting of NFL player's brother

Posted: Updated:

NEW YORK (AP) - A New York City man is charged with attempted murder in the shooting of the older brother of Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Kevin Ogletree.

Calvin Ogletree suffered a head wound on Jan. 8 near his luxury car rental shop in the Queens neighborhood of St. Albans.

The office of District Attorney Richard A. Brown says Lonnie Miller was held without bail following his arraignment Monday. He also is charged with illegal weapon possession and assault.

His attorney, Ronald Nir, did not immediately return a call for comment on Tuesday.

If convicted, Miller could face up to 25 years in prison.

His next court appearance is Oct. 1.
