A car turned into the path of a New York State Police cruiser, causing a violent crash that killed an elderly woman, police said.
The accident happened on State Route 17A in Goshen on Friday, September 14, 2012, authorities said.
The police cruiser was traveling southbound on 17A when a 2012 Kia traveling northbound turned left right and failed to yield to the police car, State Police said.
