Robber threatens victims with needle

New York City police are looking for a suspect who robs people in the Bronx while threatening them with a hypodermic needle.

Police say the latest incident occurred on Tuesday near Roberts and Tremont Avenues.  The thug walked up to a man at about 8:30 a.m. and demanded a man's property.  The victim complied and the robber ran away.

The suspect first struck on Aug. 16 near Castle Hill and East Tremont Avenues in the Parkchester section of the borough.  That attack happened at about 11 a.m.  The man who was robbed in that incident complied with the man's demands and the robber ran away.

No injuries have been reported.

The suspect is described as Hispanic, approximately 40 years old, 5'6" tall with black hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with information about the incidents is asked to contact the NYPD Crime Stoppers. Police say all calls/texts remain confidential.
