Police are on the hunt for a rapist who has been seen hanging around Occupy Wall Street protests and activities in the last year.

Cops are looking for Jackie Barcliff, 44, in connection with the rape of another Occupy protester on September 10, 2012, the NYPD said.

The 56-year-old victim, who was in town to participate in an OWS rally, told cops that a man she recognized from other protests forced her to an elevated level of the new park at Pier 15 in Manhattan, raped her, and then flung her over the railing, police said.

She slammed into the ground and suffered a broken pelvis and other serious injuries, police said.

Cops arrested Barcliff in front of Liberty Plaza back in December 2011 for assault and resisting arrest, the NYPD said. Barcliff tried to escape custody after cops nabbed him, authorities said.

Barcliff has attended OWS gathering sites in Lower Manhattan, the NYPD said.

Police are expecting a big influx of protesters in New York this weekend who will be marking the first anniversary of the Occupy protests.

If you have any information about the crime or Barcliff's whereabouts, cops want to hear from you. Contact Crime Stoppers at 800-577-TIPS (8477) or http://www.nypdcrimestoppers.com/.
